Black Trans led

Your Trans Fundraiser provides everyone* tools and strategies for fundraising mutual aid, centering the trans and gender-nonconforming community.

WHAT WE DO

We provide practical, mutual aid based fundraising techniques for regular people, human origin tools and templates, backed by data and embodied experience, and offer a space to connect with folks who want to move forward together.

All taught in a comedic, unapologetically queer way by Qamar.

We launched in 2025 to provide authentic and strategic support tailored to the unique challenges of QTGNC mutual aid fundraising. Pre-pandemic, most crowdfunding campaigns only reached about 24% of their target-leaving vital needs unmet.

In January 2026 Operation Metro Surge in Minneapolis resulted in the murder of Renee Good, a queer community member, and the deaths and kidnappings of many more. Minnesota mutual aid exploded. We opened to those who could commit to learning mutual aid in a QTGNC centered space.

The results were astounding:

  • People from all genders, many racial backgrounds across the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia have attended

  • Support networks and organic community have formed among attendees

  • Everyone wanted more

MONTHLY

  • Single session, evening core sessions by topic where we provide tools and strategy

  • Single session, two evening practicums by purpose where we apply the tools and strategy in community

OCCASIONALLY

Single evening sessions on both mutual aid and nonprofits for givers

WHEN POSSIBLE

We partner with queer organizations to do custom length peer-to-peer fundraising workshops.

SESSIONS & PRACTICUMS

APRIL 29 + 30, 2026 6:00P-8:00P CST

REGISTER HERE: https://pci.jotform.com/form/260967089025162

SLIDING SCALE: $118, $136, $154, $172

Why this matters: Liberation doesn’t happen alone. Tools and strategy are great, but it’s always easier to implement when you have people in the room, moving forward together.

Who it’s for: Folks who want to implement what they’ve learned in our core classes, in a values aligned group setting, using a fundraising platform. Great if you’re planning on launching something within the next 30 days or around Pride.

What we’ll do:

Construct a landing page for your mutual aid campaign

Receive immediate group support and feedback

Form a pre-launch plan

Attendees receive: Authentic, self-constructed landing pages, community that goes beyond the class.

In February of 2026, we opened our doors to the greater mutual aid community in occupied Minnesota and across the United States. Our first Pay What’s Possible class immediately sold out. We want to meet the immediacy of this moment, but we need to ensure that for our all Black, trans, disabled team that the support is mutual.

Fair value of each class is $6,895. This reflects Qamar’s decade of mixed experience in mutual aid and non-profit development work and covers the cost of contractor support.

He’s since worked individually and cross-functionally to generate revenue from multi-million dollar donor pipelines. Does your LGBTQIA org need to reboot it’s peer to peer?

We can help with that.

With funding under constant threat, now more than ever it’s vital that organizations have strong peer to peer fundraising. But if you’ve spent years in the tower of institutional language, it can be hard to connect.

Your Trans Fundraiser LLC provides virtual and in person workshop options for creating a culture of confidence in fundraising.

We teach your volunteers, members, and donors more than hitting goals. We help them proudly embody community giving and empower them to direct prosperity to cause.

Our inaugural partnership with Drop Deadlift Gorgeous, a deadlifting competition benefitting trans communities, sponsored by PFund:

Scale of 1-10, average increase of 8 pts in participant confidence

Direct coaching to one participant won them a fundraising award

~36% increase over last years final dollar amount
